If you haven't already looked at the main site both Si and Ed managed first round wins at Ultimate Challenge last Saturday.

Well done Si and Ed! 22

Si was facing the monsterous looking John Joe Ellis but played his excellent guard game and caught a nasty looking armbar but it wasn't the first. Earlier in the round it looked like it had it but 'somehow' JJE managed to get out of it (reminded me of the Tim vs Sami Berik fight). How, we don't know but I guess he'll have a sore elbow this week!

Well done Si and Ed! Edgelson%20Lua%26Dean%20Bray

Ed had another fast win beating Team Titin striker Dean Bray by RNC in 1.24 R1. Didn't even break a sweat!

No problem dude, just no more of those Royce Gracie circa 1992 take downs! Laughing

It really was a classic striker vs grappler fight and shows yet again that proper technique can overcome strength!
