British Open BJJ on Sunday

Just to say a big WELL DONE to the small but perfectly formed Nova Forca team that went to Birmingham to do combat at the weekend.

Rob, Tony, Paul and Steve all did well with Steve taking Gold in the Mega fat bastard category (not sure what it was but they were big). This was Steve's first competition.

When you see him, you'll notice that he has changed since becoming the champ...

The next competition is in Brighton at the end of July and it will be compulsory to enter!

Im definatly up for that one so count me in

well done steve....keep a grip of that "Champ" mentality, it can make people behave strangley i.e. become the club bully and start injuring all his team mates

I am back late september after a brief little tour of the states, 24th i think.. looking forward to being back on the mat with you lads!
went to a wrestling class sat! Practised my belly to back suplexes and peoples elbow. its a new class run by a really good wrestler, warm up is similiar to ours so should get me in shape, plus wrestling makes my lungs bleed anyway..

cool.... you get back 5 days after my next fight but 2 days before Tim's!!!! Be good to have you back with your crazy monkey jiu jitsu!
